This past Friday and Saturday, our team had the pleasure of setting up shop at Vacancy Hall in the historic Mercer Warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta!
If you haven't been there before, Vacancy Hall is a pop-up retail and studio space that hosts up-and-coming artists, brands, and entrepreneurs. Its tenants are both long- and short-term, but there is an immediate sense of community that comes with being a part of the space. That's what we love most about local events in Edmonton and about our hometown, in general!
On Friday night, the Mercer Warehouse hosted the iconic Mercer Summer Super Party. This event sees the closure of 104th street to make way for live music, beer gardens, special programming, local vendors, art installations, and an all-around great time!! If you weren't there this weekend, be sure to go next year because the crowd is amazing and the energy is electric!
Vacancy Hall is located in the basement of Mercer Warehouse, so we were just down the stairs when you enter. It was so great to meet those of you that swung by Vacancy Hall to check out our shop and the other fabulous local vendors!
We were back at Vacancy Hall again on Saturday, just down the street from the City Market on 104th Street.
We had both our classic pieces as well as new additions out on display all weekend.
We love the opportunities pop up shops give us to share our products with you in person, and also to meet you all and hear your stories. You are such a rad group of people, and we are so thankful for your support of our shop and interest in the work that we do. We have a lot of fun doing what we do, but having your support makes all the difference!!
Were you at the pop up shop this weekend? What was your favourite piece? What did you think of the store itself? We had a lot of fun putting it together but would love to hear your opinions!
We had such a great time at the pop up shop and hope to be back for many more in the future!
